Each year I undertake commissions to paint animals for private customers and ideally I prefer to meet and photograph the subject myself so that I can accurately portray their character and look. Sometimes this is not possible as either the subject lives too far away, or the painting is a posthumous one, in which case I need as many good photographs as possible to work from.

If you would like a painting of  your horse, dog, other animal or group of animals, please contact me to discuss your requirements and for a guide to prices which will vary according to the size of the painting, whether you want a specific or impressionistic background and how far I need to travel to meet the subject.
